News From Our CEO

Preparing for Our Next Stage of Growth

The first half of 2026 has been a strong one for Freedom Electronics. We entered the year with ambitious goals, and through the efforts of our employees and the continued support of our customers, the company has grown well ahead of where we were at this point last year.

What is especially encouraging is that the growth is coming from several areas. Our core petroleum business remains strong, customers are adopting more Freedom Engineered and remanufactured solutions, our eCommerce channel continues to expand, and we are making progress in adjacent markets. We are also seeing opportunities to serve customers in new regions and bring inventory closer to where it is needed.

Growth, however, creates both opportunity and responsibility. As demand increases and our business becomes more complex, we must continue investing in the people, processes, and capabilities needed to support it.

At our recent quarterly leadership offsite, we translated that next stage of growth into a focused set of priorities, what we call our company rocks. These priorities include strengthening our supply chain and overseas sourcing capabilities, increasing engineering capacity, building dedicated product leadership in food service, expanding distribution in the western United States, adding resources to our eCommerce efforts, and continuing to optimize production.

Some of this work may not be visible from outside the company. Better documentation, stronger sourcing controls, improved production flow, and additional technical resources may not receive the same attention as a new product launch. However, these foundational improvements are what allow us to maintain quality, improve availability, shorten development timelines, and serve customers consistently as we grow.

The story in this month’s newsletter about our Florida probe team is a great example. Prep, Production, and Engineering worked together to improve the remanufacturing process, increase output, and reduce warranty rates. That type of cross-functional teamwork is exactly what will allow Freedom to continue raising the bar. The launch of the FE-14 Printer is another example of what can happen when we focus our engineering efforts on solving a common customer problem in a better way.

People will be central to everything we are planning. Freedom Electronics expects to continue hiring throughout the remainder of this year, with opportunities across several areas of the business. I encourage you to periodically review the Careers section of our website and share our openings with qualified people in your network. We are looking for individuals who are technically capable, customer-focused, practical problem-solvers, and committed to continuous improvement.

A referral or personal introduction can help us reach talented people who may not otherwise know about Freedom or the opportunities available here.

Thank you to our employees for the work that produced such a strong first half, and thank you to our customers and partners for the continued trust you place in us. We are excited about where the company is headed, but we also recognize that sustainable growth must be built carefully. By remaining focused and continuing to invest in the right capabilities, we are preparing Freedom Electronics for an even stronger future.

In the dynamic environment of our Florida operations, a compelling narrative of teamwork and innovation has taken shape, highlighting the power of collaboration across multiple departments and branches. The journey began with the Prep team, whose meticulous handling of probe preparation and disassembly laid crucial groundwork for the remanufacturing process. Their precision ensured that every probe was primed for the next phase.

Next, the Production team brought their expertise to bear, performing detailed repairs to restore each probe component to optimal condition. Their deep technical knowledge and careful craftsmanship were key to maintaining the high standards our company upholds.

What elevated this process further was the indispensable contribution of the Engineering team. By injecting innovative ideas and refining procedures, they addressed complex challenges and enhanced the remanufacturing workflow. Their ability to innovate ensured continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Together, the Prep, Production, and Engineering teams created a seamless and efficient workflow that not only mastered the new remanufacturing process but also significantly increased overall output. The outcome was a marked reduction in warranty rates, directly reflecting the enhanced quality and reliability of the remanufactured probes.

This story exemplifies more than just an operational milestone; it embodies the dedication, skill, and collaborative spirit that drive our company forward. These teams set a new benchmark for excellence, and this serves as a powerful reminder of what can be achieved through a unified effort toward shared objectives.
