A New Year, New Opportunities — Built on a Strong Foundation

As we begin 2026, I’m optimistic about the opportunities ahead and proud of the progress our team has made over the past year. Meaningful growth doesn’t come from chasing trends or constantly resetting priorities—it comes from building on what works and continuing to improve with discipline and purpose.

We enter the new year with strong momentum across Freedom Electronics, supported by a solid foundation in product development, operations, and customer-focused tools.

Looking Ahead: New Products, Real Solutions

We have a healthy pipeline of new products under development, serving both petroleum and food service applications. These efforts are driven by close collaboration with our customers and a clear understanding of the environment in which our products operate.

Our focus remains on reliability, serviceability, and long-term value—developing solutions that solve real problems and perform consistently in the field. I’m excited about what our teams are bringing to market and the value these products will deliver in the year ahead.

Operational Discipline That Delivers Results

Over the past year, we continued to build on a successful LEAN implementation, with an emphasis on improving flow, reducing waste, and strengthening execution across the organization.

In 2025, those efforts led to measurable improvements in inventory levels, we made notable gains in our on-time shipping performance and better aligned our operations to business demands. Most importantly, these improvements resulted in us having more of the right parts in stock and ready to ship.

That outcome matters because it directly impacts our customers’ ability to keep operations running smoothly. We enter 2026 committed to maintaining this discipline and continuing to raise the bar.

Making It Easier to Do Business with Us

We’ve also invested in improving how customers interact with Freedom Electronics. Customer accounts are being migrated to our new eCommerce platform at freedomelectronics.com, which is designed to make finding and ordering products faster and easier.

The new site includes tools such as a Product Finder to help narrow options by application, simplified navigation for quicker browsing, and part number cross-referencing to identify equivalent or replacement components. Whether you know exactly what you need or are searching for the right solution, the platform is built to reduce friction and save time.

I encourage you to explore the new site and take advantage of these tools as your account migration is completed.

Celebrating the 75 Years of PEI

January also marks an important milestone for our industry. At the PEI Executive Summit, held at the historic Brown Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky, we will celebrate PEI’s 75th anniversary, right where it all began.

I always value the opportunity to connect with industry colleagues at this event, exchange ideas, and look ahead together. I look forward to seeing many of you in Louisville as we recognize the legacy—and future—of this industry.

As we begin 2026, our focus is clear: continue improving how we operate, expand the solutions we offer, and provide tools that make our customers’ jobs easier. I’m confident in our direction and excited about what the year ahead holds.

Thank you for your continued trust and partnership.

By Greg Abrams, Director of Business Development

I have always been a goal-oriented person. There is something about setting a goal, working towards it and seeing it accomplished. This is true in all areas of your life.  As 2026 approaches, this is the perfect time to slow down, reflect on this past year, and be intentional about where you want the coming year to take you.  Goal setting isn’t about creating an overwhelming list of tasks — it’s more about choosing direction, focus, and momentum.

Start With Reflection – What went well; this past year and what felt misaligned? Reflection turns experience into insight.

Think in Themes, Not Just Tasks – Instead of just making a long to do list, consider setting a few guiding themes for 2026. Themes act as a filter for decisions.

Set Goals That Are Clear and Flexible – Focus on outcomes you can influence and define what “success” looks like. Flexibility isn’t failure—it’s responsiveness.

Break Goals Into Manageable Steps – Big goals become achievable when broken into smaller milestones.

Align Goals With Your Values – The most sustainable goals are those rooted in what truly matters to you.

Review and Recommit Regularly – Consistent reflection keeps your goals relevant and alive.

Looking Ahead – 2026 doesn’t need to be perfect to be meaningful. With thoughtful goal-setting, it can be a year of steady progress, intentional choices, and growth.
