As 2024 draws to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect on the remarkable journey we’ve shared at Freedom Electronics this year. It’s been a year of growth, resilience, and groundbreaking innovation. I’m proud to update you on our achievements and share an exciting look into our future.
Product Innovation and Expansion: 2024 has been an extraordinary year for product development. We’ve launched 1-2 new Freedom Engineered products monthly, showcasing the incredible collaboration between our engineering, sourcing, and manufacturing teams. This dedication has transformed our Freedom Engineered products from a small part of our business into a significant contributor, making up one-third of our revenue. A standout achievement was the launch of our DEF door replacement flap (P/N FE-M13855A001), which moved from concept to market in just eight weeks—a testament to our agility and customer-driven innovation.
Reaching New Markets: Our commitment to supporting you exceeds our core petroleum base. In 2024, we expanded into new industries by introducing remanufactured Level 2 EV chargers and began developing solutions for the food service sector. This strategic diversification isn’t just about growth; it’s about understanding and addressing your evolving needs with the quality and reliability you expect from us.
Elevated Customer Experience: Your feedback is at the heart of our service improvements. This year, we enhanced customer service by replacing phone trees with live customer support, ensuring immediate, personal interactions with our dedicated team. This change has been a key part of our mission to make your experience with us exceptional.
Cost Savings and Delivery Enhancements: To help reduce your shipping expenses, we expanded our van delivery service, adding more vehicles, drivers, and routes. In 2024 alone, we eliminated freight costs for thousands of items across 135 customer locations. Interested in being part of our delivery network? Reach out to us!
Operational Milestones: A major highlight was our move to a new state-of-the-art facility in Florida. This space has enhanced our operational efficiency and represents our forward-thinking mindset. Kudos to Melissa Reed and her team for executing this move seamlessly, even amid hurricanes Milton and Helene. The safety and well-being of our employees were our top priority, and I’m grateful we navigated these challenges successfully.
Looking Ahead to 2025: Our vision for 2025 is ambitious. We plan to build on our momentum with a pipeline of new products, continued solutions for retail fuel maintenance, and further expansion into new markets. Under the leadership of our newly promoted Vice President of eCommerce and Digital Marketing, Rebecca Keith, our eCommerce platform will evolve to make finding the best products at competitive prices easier than ever.
I encourage you to cherish time with your loved ones as we close the year. Your trust and feedback drive us to improve every day, and we invite you to help shape our future by participating in our brief survey.
Wishing you a joyous holiday season and a prosperous New Year,
Patrick Jeitler

What I Love About Working at Freedom:
What I enjoy most about working at Freedom is tackling the unique challenges that come with each project. I also enjoy troubleshooting complex PCBs and developing new repair procedures that advance our company’s capabilities.
How Freedom Has Supported My Career:
Freedom has played a significant role in my career by consistently encouraging both personal and professional growth. Whether through educational support or offering a flexible schedule when needed, the company has provided invaluable opportunities for me to develop as an individual.
Outside of Work:
In my free time, I love working on and playing with cars. I’m an active member of local autocross groups and regularly participate in HPDE track days at racetracks across the Southeast.
Thank you, Steve, for your dedication and passion. You make Freedom a better place every day!
Have you ever revisited a job only to discover the issue wasn’t related to the parts previously ordered? It’s frustrating and wastes time. While lack of experience or knowledge can sometimes be the cause, it often comes down to a lack of ownership and thoroughness.
Take pride in your work by approaching every job as if you’re the technician who will follow up on it. Troubleshoot thoroughly, ensuring that when a return visit is necessary, you or the next technician will know exactly what’s needed to resolve the issue efficiently.
If you find yourself as the returning technician, start with quick troubleshooting to confirm the problem before jumping to replace parts. For instance, don’t rush to swap out a “locked-up” meter when the real issue is a faulty breakaway.
Be the technician others respect—one who takes the time to diagnose correctly and makes follow-up visits seamless.
