Greetings!
When you read this, the NACS/PEI tradeshow will be just one week away. I always look forward to the convention where we can connect with colleagues and friends from the industry.
Over the past five years, we have significantly increased our focus on new product development, which allowed us to not only expand our remanufactured product catalog but also introduce many new to-industry products. So it may not be that surprising when customers visit our booth and say “I didn’t know you make that”.
One of the lesser-known facts about Freedom Electronics is that we are the US distributor and repair center for Hengstler printers. These are the USB printers used in Gilbarco Encore dispensers. You will probably better recognize these part numbers: M13832A001/M04219A001 or M04119A001. Freedom Electronics is the only petroleum aftermarket parts supplier that can offer factory direct, new Hengstler printers in addition to a remanufactured option. Working this closely with the manufacturer allows us to report field issues and develop repair procedures very quickly.
This is just one example of why Freedom Electronics is the preferred parts supplier for most leading PEI service providers and C-Store maintenance personnel.
I invite you to come visit us at booth C6945 to learn more about our many other new and innovative products, that you may be surprised to learn that Freedom Electronics offers.
See you at the show,
Patrick Jeitler
Freedom Electronics President & CEO
Freedom to innovate, power to solve.
We have an exciting lineup of new products, so make sure that you come to see us at Booth C6945 at the NACS/PEI show in Las Vegas. Freedom new products on display this year include Float kits for Mag, Mag Plus (4” and 2”), FE-WM040824-0011 PPU displays for Ovation2, and high-volume repair parts like price control boards FE-WM053972-0001 and FE-891569-001. New FE-WU000805-0005 buttons have caused quite a stir, because they are drop-in compatible, and can be used alongside the OEM parts. The recently released PPU board FE-M12893A001/ FE-M18902A001 works for both the 5-display and 6-display configurations for Encore. One board works in both configurations, which helps you to lower the cost of ownership, reduce inventory on the van, and improve first-time fix rates.
Freedom Remanufactured products are different. We utilize a data-driven approach to repairs based on data even the OEMs do not have. Instead of only “fixing what is broken”, we replace broken parts, worn parts, and parts that are prone to failure. Your customers deserve the best, that’s why we replace every aluminum shaft on our remanufactured probes with a brand-new one, ensuring there are no pinhole leaks. This means that you have a better chance of a first-time fix on your service call and fewer repeat trips.
We support platforms you care about and will display a complete line of TLS-350, Ovation 1, Advantage, FlexPay2, Vista, Bennett, and PetroVend parts. While there is a lot of advertising trying to upsell folk, we want to make sure that you don’t feel pressured to upgrade before you are ready. Freedom has an extensive inventory of TLS-350 and FlexPay2 parts, and we will continue to support your installed base.
ESCO intercoms are an integral part of our offering. Not only do we have 32 stations, but we offer 2 channels so that no customer has to wait for help. We are also showing our low-voltage overflow alarms for ATG. The low voltage makes it safer, easier, and more economical to install . See how these, as well as our E-Stop systems, can help you stay on budget during your site builds.
Visit Our Booth: Stop by Booth C6945 to see these innovations and discuss how we can help your business grow.

When SPMs breach, it can be very frustrating and costly, but many times it can be prevented. An SPM breaches when it detects tampering, even a slight shift can cause this, and it is then no longer operational and unrepairable. A major factor of the SPM breaching can be the panel; the panels are often damaged and/or the incorrect panel.
Inspect the panel around the SPM for signs of cracking in the corners and around the mounting screws. This cracking can cause the SPM to shift and not sit properly, causing a breach.
Also verify that the SPM is not installed on the older TRSM keypad panels. These panels are identified by a lip or ridge around the opening where the gasket sits, whereas the SPM panels are flat. These panels are also slightly narrower, which forces the SPM in and causes a breach.
Replace damaged and incorrect SPM panels to avoid unnecessary breaches. Always put the SPM into maintenance mode before removing it.
